Love this song, love this band. Coldplay has some of the most amazing lines in their music. Despite the fact that I could go on and on about Chris Martin, I want to instead touch on the significance of this quote.

For the most part, my life has been pretty amazing. I would say that like any other, I have been through some battles, but they have not torn me down. There are detours, road blocks, and stop signs in our life which cause us to question our journey, but it is so important to remember that we have to keep pushing. If someone brings us pain, or causes hurt in our heart, we cannot allow it to ruin us and all we have worked for. If we find ourself out of luck, even if it seems like its never going to end, we must remember that our miracle is right around the corner. Unfortunatly, we do not know what or when that corner is, but we must have faith that we will come through it all.

There have been moments in my life that I have felt low enough to consider giving in, but then I realized that I am stronger than I think and I fight back. I reach for the sky over and over and will continue hoping against odds.

We are not defined by our battles. We are defined by how we choose to respond to them.

Sometimes we don't go through things in life for ourselves, instead we go through them so the people around us can see how we survive and maintain strength. We are walking inspiration to those around us and must never forget that.

Hi everyone!! I am very excited to start this journey and can't wait to share it with all of you!! I hope that each day/week/month I post, you find inspiration in the photos I post, as well as the ideas and the quotes that have inspired me!

Anyone that knows me, knows that I am obsessed with quotes. I collect them and have a whole book full of ones I have written down over the years. I would love to post a new quote with each blog so that I can use this as a tool to inspire even just one person.

The main purpose of my NEW blog is to keep in touch with friends and also to express myself in a way that I have not yet explored.

Right now in my life I am at an amazing new juncture! I am on the brink of starting a new job, where I truly believe I will find my way into the career I want so badly to pursue. Although this job was a bit unexpected, I chased after it myself and am very proud of what is to come.

Sometimes, like the quote above tells us, we find out who we are and where we are going completely by accident. Those accidents, or impulsive turns, turn out to be the moments that define us and push us onward.

I don't know what the future holds, but I know WHO holds it. I want to live by faith, love, and hope. Right now, I have all three!

I can't wait to share this road with all of you!
